In homeopathy jaundice is not a disease but it is a sign.The skin and sclera of the eye yellowish color in jaundice. It is caused with high levels in blood of the chemical bilirubin. The level of bilirubin controls the color of the skin andsclera. When skin color is brown   due to the high rise of bilirubin level.  The skin color is yellowish due to the mildly bilirubin level.

Conventional treatment

In conventional treatment light therapy is taken and it breakdown bilirubin in baby,s skin. One to two days , phototherapy is taken. Due to affects of phototherapy, loose stools, skin rash, damage to the retina, temperature problems, dehydration etc.

Home treatment

There is no jaundice when skin color is pale. If skin color is yellow that indicates jaundice.
